About ScaleMap
ScaleMap is a privacy-first floor planner built to help homeowners verify furniture fit before buying.
Our Story
ScaleMap started as a weekend project. After several discussions with interior designers and homeowners, we realized a glaring problem in the market: existing floor planner tools were either too complex (like professional CAD software) or required cloud accounts, subscriptions, and a steep learning curve.
Homeowners simply wanted to know: "Will my king size bed fit in this bedroom along with a wardrobe?" or "Is there enough clearance for this dining table?"
We built ScaleMap to answer these exact questions. It runs entirely in your browser, meaning your floor plans and layouts remain completely private. There's no server upload, no forced sign-ups, and no complex 3D rendering engines to slow you down.
Why use ScaleMap?
Unlike complex architectural software, ScaleMap focuses purely on furniture fit and spatial planning. By uploading your blueprint and calibrating the scale, you can drag and drop standard-sized furniture to see exactly how much walking clearance remains.
- No Cloud Servers: Everything runs locally in your browser.
- Real-World Dimensions: Verify clearances in inches, feet, or meters.
- Instant Export: Download PNG snapshots or JSON backups.
Privacy-First
Your designs never leave your device. ScaleMap uses local browser storage to save your progress, making it one of the most secure and private furniture layout tools available on the web.
